Jamieson to feature in tour match against South Africa | NZ XI Named

Kyle Jamieson will continue his return from a hamstring injury in a New Zealand XI to face South Africa at Bert Sutcliffe Oval.

Jamieson, who was yesterday named in the BLACKCAPS Test Squad for the Tegel Test Series against South Africa, will join the NZ XI team for a day in the field during next week’s three-day warm-up match in Lincoln.

With Dream11 Super Smash fixtures taking precedence, the squad features a higher proportion of Otago players, including two with others with BLACKCAPS experience: Jacob Duffy and Dean Foxcroft.

The squad will be captained by Northern Districts batsman Bharat Popli while NZC High Performance Network coach Bob Carter will lead the coaching group, with assistance from Auckland Hearts coach Rob Nicol and Cantebury Magicians assistant coach Fred Anderson.
