Scorecard

Suzie Bates won the toss and made good on her decision to bat first as her and Sophie Devine raised a 50-run partnership after five over.

England pace-bowler Katherine Brunt (2-26) swung the momentum with two wickets in three balls in the sixth over.

Amy Satterthwaite was going nicely until she was trapped LBW for 19 as five wickets fell for 21 runs between the 13th and 19th over.

Amelia Kerr hung around to finish 12 not-out as the WHITE FERNS posted 137-9 from their 20 overs.

English openers Danny Wyatt (50) and Tammy Beaumont (35) ensured a relaxed chase for the hosts, aside from some Amelia Kerr drama as the leg-spinner claimed two wickets in two balls with consecutive googlies.

The WHITE FERNS shift north to Leicester for a one-day warm-up match on Wednesday before beginning a three-game ODI series against England on Saturday in Leeds.
