Razzaq leads Pakistan revival

Abdul Razzaq has guided Pakistan to a tense four-wicket victory over Sri Lanka with a superb all round display in the second one-day international in Colombo.

Razzaq claimed 2-19 as the hosts were dismissed for a paltry 130 in 44.2 overs.

He then provided a solid innings with the bat, finishing on 41 not out after Pakistan had slumped to 5-47.

Mohammad Yousuf (26) combined with Razzaq for a match-winning partnership, while wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal (20 not out) also helped guide the tourists home.

Pakistan looked on the way to an easy win when it had bowled out the injury-ravaged Sri Lankans cheaply.

But the hosts applied pressure throughout Pakistan's run chase with tight bowling and good work in the field.

Earlier, Tillakaratne Dilshan saved Sri Lanka from major embarrassment with a gritty 48 that he produced after his side collapsed to 7-56 in the 21st over.

He shared important stands with Nuwan Kulasekera and Lasith Malinga for the eighth (42) and ninth (25) wickets.
