Boult among the wickets for the Sunrisers as Southee's Royals top the table.

Anderson scores second 50 in three IPL innings

The Indian Premier League has featured plenty of mate against mate action for the BLACKCAPS. In last night's Rajasthan Royals v Mumbai Indians clash, Tim Southee conceded a six and a four in consecutive balls to Corey Anderson, who made a half century from 38 balls for Mumbai.

Southee was used throughout the innings and conceded 46 runs in his four overs, picking up the consolation wicket of Kieren Pollard, who made 70 from 34 balls in Mumbai's 164, which the Royals chased that down with five balls to spare to leave them top of the table having played three games.

Anderson's 50 was his second in two games, and he's felt more at home at the competition at his second attempt, telling iplt20.com "There is a fear of the unknown when you first come in (the the IPL) and there is a bit of craziness around the IPL. When you come back and you know the surroundings and the people around you, it becomes a lot more comfortable. You start building on the new friendships you made in the previous IPL and you settle down into the team."
