Bravo shows class as NZ A strike late

Video Highlights

With 54 Tests to his name including eight centuries, recalled West Indies international Darren Bravo showed why he'll be a threat to the BLACKCAPS, on day two against New Zealand A in Queenstown.

The 31-year-old left-hander opted out of the recent series against England on health grounds, but has returned for this tour and on Saturday reeled off an impressive 135 from 214 balls, including 13 fours and five sixes.

It was a long day for the Kiwi bowlers who only had three wickets to show for their day's work, until Sean Solia and Michael Rippon bagged a couple of late breakthroughs to have the visitors 329-6 and a lead of 21 heading into the final day.
