The second Twenty20 between the White Ferns and the West Indies Women has been rained out at Queens Park in Invercargill today.
After a delay at the beginning of the match, the White Ferns won the toss and opted to bowl first. However, just two overs into the match and with the West Indies at 7 for one, the rain started to come down and didn’t stop.
Eventually the match was abandoned, leaving the White Ferns still 1-0 up in the series with three games to play.
The third Twenty20 is on Wednesday in Invercargill.
