Wellington Blaze have qualified for the final of the Action Twenty20 cricket competition with one round of the competition remaining.
They registered their eighth win in nine outings by strolling to a comfortable seven-wicket win over Central Hinds at Palmerston North today, lifting their points haul to 32.
Sophie Devine, Action Twenty20 MVP leader, guided Wellington past Central's 126 for seven at Fitzherbert Park, her 49 not out off 40 balls carrying them home with an over to spare after she'd earlier received support from Sarah Taylor, who made 38 off 33.
