After working his way through age group cricket and representing New Zealand at the U19 World Cup, Finn made the move from Auckland to Wellington for an explosive 2020-21 summer where he became the top run scorer in the Dream11 Super Smash, propelling the top-order batsman to make his debut for the BLACKCAPS in 2021 at just 21 years old.
His fearless ball-striking ability and tendency to hit six off the first ball make him a short-form match-winner, entertainer, and force to be reckoned with.
Finn scored his maiden T20 ton for the BLACKCAPS against Scotland in July 2022, at the time making him just the fifth BLACKCAP to bring up three figures in the format.
Allen's speciality in the T20 arena has already seen him snapped up by teams in leagues around the globe, including in The Hundred for the Birmingham Phoenix, The Kia Super League for the Yorkshire Vikings and Lancashire Lightning, and he is a squad member of the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League.
